Brake System

HB-S automotive high-performance snow blower

The service brake and the parking brake (spring-loaded) are designed as shoe brakes. Each wheel has its own brake cylinder. The spring-loaded brake acts on the outer axles. However, the individual axles are rigidly connected to each other via cardan shafts and gears.

The spring-loaded brake is released by means of compressed air. In order to avoid excessive load on the brake leverage, the parking brake and service brake are pneumatically locked against each other.
